Congrats to Abel to Yzerman on the win and also to Take One For the Team for a late great push. Thanks again to the whole group for playing.

Poolhardy.com Revisited

It seems that as much as I like hockey and hockey pools, I don’t like ‘em enough to keep an NHL fantasy hockey blog running. I’ve got a new idea for poolhardy.com that has nothing to do with hockey, so you should kill poolhardy.com as a hockey link on your blogrolls and bookmarks.

The poolhardy hockey pool was successful. Most of the participants were active and I hope they had as much fun as I did. Drafting Brodeur and Kiprusoff 1 and 2 really hurt me, due to their slow starts and because I passed on superstar scorers like Ovechkin to pick the tenders. Luckily, the goalies finished well (especially Brodeur) and I was able to dig my team out of last place. Hopefully I hold onto my top-5 finish over the final two days of the season. I’ll post the results here on Sunday and will leave them up until I get around to putting together my new idea for the poolhardy site. This will probably happen after my big move at the end of the month.

See you on the other side (of the country)!
